Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Lieksa track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Jumping Galaxy. Sad Lady ended up behind the leader. Eternal Sparrow got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Trembling Dancer started to galop and lost 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sad Lady sprinted to the front.




Eternal Sparrow took the lead after 1000m. Moonlight Winter didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Trembling Dancer galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Eternal Sparrow was still in the lead after 1500m.



Eternal Sparrow looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Moonlight Winter won. Eternal Sparrow came in second. Jumping Galaxy caught third place.
