The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mayfair found a gap and took the lead. Tickeling followed before Cap Ferret. Tickeling was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Counterfeit Wish saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Tickeling took the lead after 1000m. Final Destiny didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tickeling followed by Cap Ferret and Counterfeit Wish. Lane two Mayfair followed by Final Destiny and Veuve Clicquot. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Veuve Clicquot gallopped for 40 m.



Mayfair suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Cap Ferret sprinted over the finishline before Mayfair and Tickeling.
