One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Devine Sunset tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Running Cake that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Devine Sunset sprinted to the front.




Merryweather Hoof looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Running Cake couldn't come out from behind the leader, Devine Sunset.




Devine Sunset was still in the lead after 1500m.



Running Cake speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Running Cake didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
