One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rockabilly Boy tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Khashoggi´s Ship that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Terrific Jet, Verkollkommnung, Baconbacoff, Khashoggi´s Ship, Antiguo Guerrero, Giant, Rockabilly Boy, . driver couldn't keep Rockabilly Boy to trotting so they were disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Verkollkommnung was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Terrific Jet was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Baconbacoff galoped for 30 m. Khashoggi´s Ship speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Terrific Jet won the race after a spectacular finish.
