One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lipstick found a gap and took the lead. Scarlet Garden followed before Rugged Admiral.




This is the positions after 500m. Rugged Admiral, Lipstick, Just Valley, Fläsk Felix, Mondrian, Scarlet Garden, General Thrasher, . Scarlet Garden was disturbed and galoped 50 m. General Thrasher started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Lipstick sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Rugged Admiral galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lipstick followed by Mondrian and Fläsk Felix. Lane two Just Valley followed by Rugged Admiral and Scarlet Garden. Fläsk Felix galloped for 20 m.



Lipstick sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Fläsk Felix galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Lipstick kept the speed the whole finish and won before Scarlet Garden and Just Valley.
