One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Impress Me tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hickory Pride that came steaming ahead. Impress Me suddenly started to galop. Hans-Owe Sundberg had to struggle to get Impress Me to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Hickory Pride suddenly started to galop. Roger Malmqvist had to struggle to get Hickory Pride to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




Hickory Pride was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Close Arraow accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Hickory Pride suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






No-one could catch Hickory Pride today who won before Close Arraow and Impress Me.
