The weather had been good all week and Bjerke was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dead Pirate took the lead after a very quick start.

Dead Pirate was in fine shape and held the lead.

Rangoon took the lead after 1000m. Köttbullen didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Monsieur Du Dijon saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

driver couldn't keep Confident Night to trotting so they were disqualified. Monsieur Du Dijon were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Rangoon galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Köttbullen won the race after a spectacular finish.
