One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Impatient Cupcake tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Playing Red that came steaming ahead. Running Nutcracker was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Vluchtig Zonder quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Vluchtig Zonder was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Running Nutcracker saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Running Nutcracker kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Running Nutcracker looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Playing Red made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Running Nutcracker.
