One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Little Joe tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ernani that came steaming ahead.




Little Joe saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Ernani looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Falling Energy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Little Joe.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Little Joe followed by Falling Energy and Moving Striker. Lane two Ernani followed by Clean Sheet and Quilly Du Marais.



With only a little left of the race Moving Striker galoped for 30 m. Little Joe looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Clean Sheet made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Falling Energy.
