Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Färjestad track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Crossing Red tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Stretching Pearl that came steaming ahead.




Stretching Pearl was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Crossing Red looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Egyenes Gyõzelem couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stretching Pearl.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Stretching Pearl followed by Egyenes Gyõzelem and Sharp Knife. Lane two Crossing Red followed by Fighting Missile and Love In December.




Stretching Pearl was still in the lead after 2000m.



Stretching Pearl looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Stretching Pearl didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
