The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Jarlsberg this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Crossing Darkness sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Wandering Diamond sprinted to the front.




Star Mountain took the lead after 1000m. Waste Of Colours didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Star Mountain today. It continued in the lead. Star Mountain started to gallop after 1500m and Pål Sem had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Christiane F. showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



With only a little left of the race Crossing Darkness galoped for 50 m. Star Mountain were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Strawberry Fields made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Waste Of Colours.
