Only a humble breeze blew over Kalmar this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giant could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. driver couldn't keep Eau Du Cologne to trotting so they were disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Charle Mang sprinted to the front.




Giant sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Starstruck Love accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Starstruck Love gallopped for 20 m. Wandering Thought started to gallop after 1500m and Fredrik Persson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Starstruck Love didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Big Glory showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Giant speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Giant. Starstruck Love came in second. Charle Mang became third.
