One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sutherland Hof sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Völler Möller saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Völler Möller was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Völler Möller was still in the lead after 1500m.

Super Pegasos suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Esa Holopainen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Midwest Box started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Mad Dream sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
