The sun was shining on Kalmar and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dominant General took the lead after a very quick start.

Rodrigo Jet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Dominant General started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Amber Brightness looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Cunning Dragon couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rodrigo Jet.

Rodrigo Jet was still in the lead after 1500m.

Rebellious Cruiser speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Amber Brightness won. Rebellious Cruiser came in second. Rodrigo Jet caught third place.
