One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Saint-Étienne could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Chevaleresque was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Pretty Wish was still in the lead after 1500m.



Copacabana Hoof was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Lysmelk Cherry were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Chevaleresque never caught up with Saint-Étienne who won. Stopping Thought came third.
