Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Lycksele track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Imphal West Girl. Climbing Crusher ended up behind the leader. Growing Steel got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Egri Frost showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Growing Steel sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Growing Steel followed by Imphal West Girl and Ketchup. Lane two Climbing Crusher followed by Sacred Story and Quick Movement.

Growing Steel were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Climbing Crusher won the race after a spectacular finish.
