The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Halmstad today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Doctor Jones tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Whatever Moonlight that came steaming ahead. Bring The Power showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Stunning Sunray was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Stunning Sunray sprinted to the front. Twinkling Star was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Whatever Moonlight took the lead after 1000m. Citrin didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Whatever Moonlight followed by Citrin and Stunning Sunray. Lane two Doctor Jones followed by Twinkling Star and Figeac.




Whatever Moonlight sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Whatever Moonlight looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Whatever Moonlight didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
