One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Old Piece could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Assure Destruction started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Old Piece looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Maksimilijonas Bakaou couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stopping Nova.

Ralf Karlstedt tried a little too much on the homestretch and Assure Destruction started to galopp and lost 20 m.




No-one could catch Stopping Nova today who won before Maksimilijonas Bakaou and Old Piece.
