Only a humble breeze blew over Gävle this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Ghibli. Walking Scout ended up behind the leader. Primetime Palema got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Pinstripe´s Close Catch was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Solid Moon suddenly started to galop. Åke Svanstedt had to struggle to get Solid Moon to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

Slow Plan saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Primetime Palema took the lead after 1000m. Five Of Spades didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Ghibli saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Slow Plan started to gallop after 1500m and Roger Malmqvist had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Ghibli looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Slow Plan galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.

Pinstripe´s Close Catch won the race after a spectacular finish.
