Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Oviken track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Hummus Roro took the lead after a very quick start. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Gold Afterglow galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Helen Burns sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Perfect Pegasos suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Posterboy galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Sognare Lontano galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Helen Burns today. It continued in the lead. driver couldn't keep Żgħir to trotting so they were disqualified. Gold Wonderwall suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Winner of todays race was Gold Wonderwall. Nessla Kool Thing came in second. Helen Burns became third. Results
