The sun was shining on Visby and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Kjekken. Crying Rain ended up behind the leader. Mascerinne got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Victory Vibrations galoped for 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Down The Beach sprinted to the front. Fils De Dieu was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Kjekken took the lead after 1000m. Speciale Invitare didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Victory Vibrations galop. Victory Vibrations lost 20 m.

Blondie sprinted over the finishline before Eikemin and Pommard.
