Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Pihtipudas track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





March Parader tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Slow Devil that came steaming ahead. Veli-Erkki Paavola wanted a little to much in the start and Café Au Lait galoped for 30 m.




Niente Testamento saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
