The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Aurum Militia Giron could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Netrebko Hof quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Wall Breaker showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




The leader got disturbed by something and Joanna Palema took the lead rather easily.




Netrebko Hof looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Netrebko Hof looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Joanna Palema galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Coughing Forest won. Aurum Militia Giron came in second. Netrebko Hof caught third place.
