One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Diamond Flame was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Judy Jane showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Lonely Wind galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Silent Rival sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Silent Rival today. It continued in the lead.

Silent Rival kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Computer Science speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Gardens Fairytale sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
