One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Barone Giglia tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sweeping Desert that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Mr Point sprinted to the front.




Y Dirweddol Ceffyl took the lead after 1000m. Sweeping Desert didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Mr Point suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Barone Giglia showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Y Dirweddol Ceffyl was still in the lead after 1500m.



Y Dirweddol Ceffyl was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Sweeping Desert speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sweeping Desert galop. Sweeping Desert lost 30 m. Barone Giglia showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Climbing Knight won. Y Dirweddol Ceffyl came in second. Mr Point caught third place.
