One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Viva La France found a gap and took the lead. Mr Hall followed before Farmer Line.

Viva La France was in fine shape and held the lead.

Farmer Line looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Zumbagirl couldn't come out from behind the leader, Viva La France.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Viva La France followed by Farmer Line and Zumbagirl. Lane two Sweet Tigress followed by Mr Hall and Hyper Dyper. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Hank The Bank gallopped for 10 m.

Viva La France kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Viva La France sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Paw Mahony tried a little too much on the homestretch and Hyper Dyper started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Sweet Tigress won the race after a spectacular finish.
