The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Suivi Nuages could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. Mad Daffodil was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Sieg Viktoria was in fine shape and held the lead.




Suivi Nuages clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Suivi Nuages was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Suivi Nuages looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Suivi Nuages today who won before Mad Daffodil and Flickering Winter.
