One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Black Sparrow found a gap and took the lead. Cassio followed before Mack Snobbel. Labyrinth Storm suddenly started to galop. Ove Wassberg had to struggle to get Labyrinth Storm to tror again and succeded after 30 m. When the startcar left the field I Aint Going started to galop and lost 10 m.

I Aint Going quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Labyrinth Storm galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Thousand Dreams sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Hans Petter Tholfsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Mack Snobbel started to galopp and lost 40 m.
