One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sad Spring. Lady Simpson ended up behind the leader. Stifling Trap got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Light Pop was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. driver couldn't keep Quickstep to trotting so they were disqualified. When the startcar left the field Neverending Story started to galop and lost 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Light Pop, Stifling Wave, Regrette Rien, Curly Summer, Into The Wind, Ice Discovery, Stifling Trap, Sad Spring.

Light Pop clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Shawnee Shay saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lady Simpson gallopped for 40 m.

Shawnee Shay kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Shawnee Shay were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Sad Spring won. Shawnee Shay came in second. Stifling Trap caught third place.
