One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Esiintuoda tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Second Star that came steaming ahead. Manuela Di Centa quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Bouncing Vicky looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Second Star couldn't come out from behind the leader, Manuela Di Centa. Bouncing Vicky accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Bouncing Vicky sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Bouncing Vicky galoped way to long and was disqualified. Second Star sprinted over the finishline before Esiintuoda and Manuela Di Centa. Results
