Start List
Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Lahti track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Ultra Pearl tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Light Rocker that came steaming ahead. Light Rocker was in fine shape and held the lead. Ultra Pearl galloped way to long and was disqualified. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Light Rocker followed by Dansar and . Lane two Shining Armor followed by Ultra Pearl and . Shining Armor litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
