One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Red Rose could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Slow Devil started to galop and lost 50 m. Jimmi Ehlers wanted a little to much in the start and Red Rose galoped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Ikke Overgive Sig started to galop and lost 30 m.

Ikke Overgive Sig saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Ikke Overgive Sig was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Space Speed suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ikke Overgive Sig followed by Slow Devil and Space Speed. Lane two Ketchup followed by T-bone Walker and Red Rose. driver couldn't keep Wiss Shadow to trotting so they were disqualified.

Ketchup speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Ketchup didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
