One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Basketcase took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Rugged Paradigm looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Criminal Rocket couldn't come out from behind the leader, Basketcase.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Basketcase today. It continued in the lead.



Basketcase sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Basketcase today who won before Criminal Rocket and Tuborg Pegasos.
