Lane one Houston Calling followed by King Of Diamonds and Shooting Crusher. Lane two Mr Ice followed by Ocean Drive and . With only a little left of the race Shooting Crusher galoped for 40 m. Houston Calling was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. driver couldn't keep Mr Ice to trotting so they were disqualified. Houston Calling kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Shooting Crusher galop. Shooting Crusher lost 50 m.
