One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Corton found a gap and took the lead. Walking News followed before Typical T..




Electro quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. This Is It was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Walking News looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Corton couldn't come out from behind the leader, Electro. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Corton galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.



Walking News looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Typical T. couldn't come out from behind the leader, Electro.

Hans Petter Tholfsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Lying Rose started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Corton won the race after a spectacular finish.
