The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bergsåker this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rolling Wave was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Dancing Daffodil suddenly started to galop. Marcus Sundberg had to struggle to get Dancing Daffodil to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. To The End, Carambolage, Gjøre Silken, Super Tyrant, Rolling Wave, Something Else, Desert Fighter, Dancing Daffodil. Re Peat started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Dancing Daffodil who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Something Else sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Something Else was still in the lead after 1500m.

Something Else sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Rolling Wave never caught up with Something Else who won. Gjøre Silken came third.
