One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bell Pepper Cherry found a gap and took the lead. Majestic Girl followed before Stunning Witch.

Stunning Witch quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Échelon Et Dignité who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Guard Of Ottawa took the lead after 1000m. Majestic Girl didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Bell Pepper Cherry looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Majestic Girl was first on the homestretch followed by Bell Pepper Cherry and Stunning Witch.

Stunning Witch sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
