The sun was shining on Bergsåker today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

American Fighter was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. American Fighter was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Per Linderoth wanted a little to much in the start and Jad Kaplja galoped for 30 m. Breaking Maid was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Tropical Tropic, Happy Rose, American Fighter, Growing Ship, Jad Kaplja, Breaking Maid, Fire House, To Be Frank. Plantin was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Jad Kaplja was disturbed and galoped 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Devil's Advocate who started to galop and lost 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Growing Ship didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
