One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lonley Number sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Field Commander Cohen was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Impressive Ice who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Field Commander Cohen looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Impressive Ice couldn't come out from behind the leader, He´s Special.

Field Commander Cohen was still in the lead after 1500m.

He´s Special was still in the lead after 2000m. Field Commander Cohen gallopped 40 m after 2000m.

He´s Special were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

No-one could catch He´s Special today who won before Let Me Go and Impressive Ice.
