The weather had been good all week and Jarlsberg was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Second Period was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Trial And Error sprinted to the front.




Splash Easy took the lead after 1000m. Foxley didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Splash Easy followed by Super Tyrant and Trial And Error. Lane two Lone Tank followed by Foxley and King Of Gotland. Second Period galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Splash Easy was still in the lead after 2000m.



Super Tyrant was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Lone Tank speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Trial And Error, 2 Super Tyrant, 3 Splash Easy.
