The weather had been good all week and Rovaniemi was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ultra Pascal tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Dave The Barbarian that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Black Illusion, Screaming Power, R.yen, Felicia Crown, Tous Les Memes, Mosquito, Ultra Pascal, Walk The Line.

Black Illusion clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Ultra Pascal saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Mosquito gallopped for 30 m.

Ultra Pascal didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Black Illusion galoped for 30 m. Ultra Pascal sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Hodet Storm galop. Hodet Storm lost 30 m.

Winner of todays race was Ultra Pascal. Dave The Barbarian came in second. Felicia Crown became third.
