The sun was shining on Åmål today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giant Royal found a gap and took the lead. Adolf Dynamite followed before Vinner Lett. Base To Base suddenly started to galop. Rickard Alderborg had to struggle to get Base To Base to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




Giant Royal was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Glæde Ved Mig who started to galop and lost 20 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Portable Band took the lead rather easily. Glæde Ved Mig galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Vinner Lett accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Stopping Folder galloped for 20 m.




Base To Base seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Portable Band gallopped 30 m after 2000m.



Giant Royal speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sergeant Mustache galop. Sergeant Mustache lost 10 m.




Base To Base won the race after a spectacular finish.
