The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Arvika today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mayflower Face could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Special Artist showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Advanced Energy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Advanced Energy followed by Hob Nob and Lonely Pie. Lane two Mayflower Face followed by Platinum Platinum and Special Artist. Special Artist started to gallop after 1500m and Jan Hultman had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Advanced Energy didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.




Advanced Energy was safely in the lead after 2500m.



Mayflower Face litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Advanced Energy sprinted over the finishline before Mayflower Face and Hob Nob.
