The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mikkeli this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lady Tango took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Mad Maid put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Only You gallopped 50 m after 2000m.



Mad Maid kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Mad Maid didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
