Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åmål track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Honourable Mountain could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Extreme Way sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Loup saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Extreme Way started to gallop after 1500m and Per-Arne Abelin had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Extreme Way suddenly took over the lead.



Extreme Way were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Loup won the race after a spectacular finish.
