One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Glowing Grove found a gap and took the lead. Stopping Thought followed before Parfait.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Universe Star sprinted to the front.




Parfait looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Yankee Brodda couldn't come out from behind the leader, Universe Star. Stopping Thought suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Universe Star followed by Yankee Brodda and Bold Thinker. Lane two Parfait followed by Glowing Grove and Stopping Thought.



Universe Star were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Universe Star kept the speed the whole finish and won before Glowing Grove and Parfait.
