One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Tuo Piedi. Troubling Galaxy ended up behind the leader. Selezionato got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Kwaliteit Soort, Chewing Gum, Insane Flower, Tuo Piedi, Selezionato, No Excuses, Houston Calling, Bewildered.

Chewing Gum sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

No Excuses looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Troubling Galaxy gallopped for 10 m.

Kwaliteit Soort was first on the homestretch followed by No Excuses and Selezionato.

No Excuses showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Troubling Galaxy galop. Troubling Galaxy lost 10 m.

Selezionato made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Kwaliteit Soort.
