One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Starchild tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to I Burn that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Jumping Red started to galop and lost 10 m. I Burn was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Starchild looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jumping Red couldn't come out from behind the leader, I Burn. Starchild never caught up with I Burn who won. Blue Kazoo came third. Results
