One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ocean Soul found a gap and took the lead. Flying Pirate followed before Highland Star Shine. Highland Star Shine was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Walking Diamond showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Dr Sheldon Cooper saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Flying Pirate who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Mercuri Star took the lead after 1000m. Moving Pain didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Colonnello Baptiste galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Mercuri Star today. It continued in the lead.

Mercuri Star sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Mercuri Star. Moving Pain came in second. Dr Sheldon Cooper became third.
