One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Bright Star Pegasos. Prospectus ended up behind the leader. Raindance Maggie got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Prospectus quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Bright Star Pegasos looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Winnipeg Gold Digger couldn't come out from behind the leader, Prospectus.




Bright Star Pegasos looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Bright Star Pegasos kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Bright Star Pegasos kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Prospectus was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Hans R Strömberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Ignatz started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Winnipeg Gold Digger won the race after a spectacular finish.
